Apple Launched iPhone SE 2020: Whats New in The Phone

Apple finally announced the most teased and anticipated smartphone of 2020, iPhone SE (2020) on April 15. It has three versions available for every apple user living around the world, including A2275 for Global, A2296 USA and other countries around it, A2298 for China market. The low-end iPhone will be Apple’s most affordable iPhone ever. We are hoping that it will win the consumer’s mind and be the best smartphone in 2020.

The iPhone SE (2020) will be available for pre-order in more than 40 countries this Friday, on the date of April 17. And the company will start shipping the phone from April 24.

As the original iPhone SE 2016 represented as iPhone 5, unlike that, the iPhone SE 2020 resembled the iPhone 8 in case of design.

The iPhone SE that entered the room today, presents a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD display, which supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, Wide colour gamut and True Tone to showcase the ambient lighting. This phone can reach up to max brightness of 625 nits.

Touch ID is back with iPhone SE 2020

More on display, it is layered with IP67 water and dust resistance to protect from water splashes. Moreover, the phone is made with glass both front and back with an aluminium frame. It is protected by Ion-strengthened glass and oleophobic coating for better safety in rough conditions.

Inside the hardware segment, the iPhone SE is invented via A13 Bionic chip with iOS 13, the similar chip as iPhone 11. Apple claims that this is the fastest chip living in a phone up to date. The phone also features a Hexa-core CPU and Apple GPU for smooth and ultra-performance.

Apple users had an issue with the battery life of the original iPhone SE. The company upgraded the battery life of the iPhone SE 2020, which lasts for 13 hours while watching video, eight hours while streaming videos, and forty hours while listening to music. The iPhone SE bundles with 18W fast adapter, which charges 50 percent in 30 minutes.

As the new iPhone SE is identical to iPhone 8, it comes in the thick top and bottom bezels. The big bezel houses the 7MP selfie camera and microphone, and it supports Portrait Mode as well as image signal sensor and Neural Engine. Moreover, the bottom bezels feature a Touch HD Home button which works for a fingerprint sensor.

On the rear panel, the iPhone SE features a single-lens 12MP camera with LED True Tone flash. The camera supports OIS, Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting. Unfortunately, Night Mode is not featured on the phone.

The single-camera can record at its best, including 4K video at up to 60 frames per second with OIS, slow-motion video, and time-lapse video.

On the connectivity segment, the device features WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5 and NFC, Apple Pay, fourth-generation connectivity.

The phone is available in three shades- Black, White and (product) Red. It comes in 3GB RAM options, featuring three storages, 64, 128, and 256 GB storage capacities.

Price of the phones: 64GB model costs $399, the 128GB costs $499 and the 256GB variant starts at $549. This is the cheapest offering from Apple.

We haven’t heard of iPhone SE Plus, though iPhone 8 featured a plus model. Stay tuned for more upcoming news.
