HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, launched three phones gradually at a time through an online launch event. The devices are Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 1.3 which is a budget phone. HMD Global announced Nokia 8.3 5G, alongside Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 1.3 on 19th March, 2020.

The technology world continues to march on as day passes, so as 5G features. Alas! Nokia is a little bit late to the 5G game. Nokia claims that Nokia 8.3 5G is their first global 5G featured phone which means it should support 5G roaming across the countries. The device is manufactured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G and 2.4GHz Octa core processor. Nokia 8.3 will be shipping with Android One operating system, based on Android 10. The phone supports a full view of 6.81-inch FHD+IPS adaptive PureDisplay with HDR support which calls for enhanced picture quality, the ability to adjust brightness for ambient light, and “absolute color accuracy.” Being a mid-budget flagship phone, the phone sports a quad camera alignment with Zeiss optics. The cameras consisted of a 64 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. HMD added “Action Cam feature” on the 12 MP ultrawide lens at 60 fps that allows for capturing fast moving objects. On the display, a 24MP selfie camera is housed inside the punch-hole notch at the top left corner.
Nokia 8.3 5G is paired with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB storage with the option of further extending it via a microSD card. The power button also acts as the fingerprint reader. A bountiful 4,500 mAh battery provides the required juice, and it can be quickly leaped-up using the bundled 18W fast charger. Furthermore, it supports headphone jack and NFC.

Nokia 5.3 is a mid-range phone from the Nokia 5 series. HMD launched it alongside their first 5g phone. Nokia 5.3 is powered by a mid-range chipset, Snapdragon 665 aligned with 2.0GHz Octa core processor. The device is bundled with a 4000mAh battery which is based on Android 10. It sports Android One operating system for better performance. It has a 10W charger with USB-C for charging, a headphone jack, rear mounted fingerprint scanner.
Nokia 5.3 was destined to be a phone of 6.55inch IPS LCD screen with 82% screen to body ratio and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with a water drop notch design to its top bezel. It is a 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Nokia 5.1 had a single camera to record pictures and videos. With a massive upgrade, HDM bumped up from one single camera to a whopping four cameras on the Nokia 5.3. It is arranged with a 13MP primary sensor, 5MP wide-angle sensor, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP for macro lens. The water drop cutout at front rooms for 8MP front facing camera.

Nokia 1.3 is powered by quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 with the support of 1.3GHz processor. The phone will be powering the system on Android 10 Go edition with Android One operating function. It ships with 1GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. Firmly, it can be said that it is a low end device to come up with 1GB RAM. But, the storage can be updated up to 400GB by providing an extra memory slot.
Nokia 1.3 is a budget device of water drop cutout with 5.71 inch IPS LCD display. It harbors 80% screen to body ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio. It makes the display at 720p HD+ resolution but no protection included.
As far as the cameras are mentioned, the Nokia 1.3 on the rear packs an 8-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the water drop notch for selfies.
