Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, both feature heavyweight specs and premium unlike any android flagships like Samsung, iPhone but they’re more affordable for consumers. Well, we can consider the global launch as a reboot that Mi 10 is going to be official for everyone with a high note of quad camera setup that’s the host of 108MP snapper.
In the meantime, The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi Pro was launched in China last month and now set for global debut on 27th March, 2020. On account of launching, Xiaomi will showcase these 108MP beasts, and the camera results are engrossing. The Mi 10 event will be an online affair that will be streamed via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Specs wise, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro comes in front page with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 bundled with fifth generation connectivity and runs Android 10 based MIUI 11. 2.84GHz CPU and Adreno 650 GPU processor is clocked in the phones for flagship output. Glass panel is built both back and front alongside the aluminum frame.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and MI 10 Pro sport 6.67inch SUPER AMOLED full HD+ screen with curved edges that has a fingerprint reader underneath. The panel supports 90Hz screen refresh and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is equipped with 1080 x 2340 pixels. The panels on both phones are layered via Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Xiaomi has been exhibiting the camera capabilities of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The Mi 10 series are few of the ﬁrst smartphones to feature a 108 MP camera, even if they are not the ﬁrst Xiaomi handsets to do so.
Both phones differ in camera hardware except the front facing camera. The biggest point to talk in Mi 10 Pro is the camera- the 108MP primary camera has 8P lens and is winged by three more outstanding cameras- the 8MP long telephoto lens has 10x hybrid zoom, a 12MP 2x telephoto shooter for portraits and 20MP shooter for ultra-wide field of view. The 108MP camera features OIS and EIS and supports plenty of enhancements for stills and video recording and 8K resolution.
On the contrary, Xiaomi Mi 10 sports the same vertical line as its pro version but different setup. The camera setup comes with a 108MP wide angle lens, flanked by three more cameras which are downgrade from Mi 10 Pro. The device loses both telephoto swords instead bringing a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The 108MP sensor amplifies via OIS operator.
Both phones have 20MP front facing cameras housed in punch-hole cutouts. It is a pretty decent resolution for a selfie snapper.
In terms of battery, fueling a 4500mAh cell with 50W charging speed leaps up the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro while Xiaomi Mi 10 outdoes the pro. Xiaomi Mi 10 houses itself a 4780mAh cell bundled with 30W fast charging via USB Type-C cable. It looks like Mi 10 will last a bit longer. Both of the devices have 30W fast wireless charging support and reversible charging 5W.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 causes differentiation in pricing via storage availability. Both phones have three model varying memory options. Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a base variant of 128GB storage and 8GB RAM, followed by more storages- 256GB storage and 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi 10 offers more space. It comes with a base model of 256GB storage and 8GB RAM which is ranked up with more memory slots- 256GB storage and 12GB RAM, 512GB storage and 12GB RAM.
Each phone has a wide range of colors available. Xiaomi Mi 10 lights up itself through three colors- Ice Blue, Peace Gold, Titanium Silver. Whereas, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro knocks out in two colors- Pearl White, Starry Blue.
