The technology world doesn’t seem to be wrapped up, yet Huawei keeps the war going on and wants to be busy in all segments. Huawei is preparing for a new low end device in the next few days. The device will be dubbed as Honor Play 9A, successor of Honor Play 8A.
The Honor Play series rocked the market for a long time. Time for another hiccup. Honor 30 lineup is coming in a few days and now we are good to hear that Honor Play 9A will join the party as well. Found out an official teaser on Weibo page of Honor that the revealing date will be March of 30. A heap of rumors about the device has been leaked in its all glory.
As the official renders of Honor, the phone was meant to be coming with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The processor sits at the helm paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The phone will run based on Android 10 with Honor’s Magic UI 3.0 on the top and it means it will be shipping without google services.
The big power cell of 5000mAh battery is rumored to pack in it. Honor interestingly advertises the battery life as “long life” and “super endurance”, hope the rumors might be true. But it is downgraded to charge at 10W via microUSB 2.0 cabale.
The Honor Play 9A will be built around a 6.3inch IPS LCD screen with a water drop notch on the top of the edge. It is rumored to have plastic frame design. Entry level resolution, 720 x 1600 pixels, will divulge in it.
According to the leaks, the water drop notch will put an 8MP selfie camera in it. The back combo boasts dual camera setup of 13MP as primary camera, joined by a 2MP depth sensor with LED flash in a rectangular frame. A physical fingerprint reader is mounted right next to the camera bump. The setup is quite budget friendly as an entry level phone.
The official renders say that the budget friendly phone will sport 3.5mm port on the top panel. It will feature more specs as well as Wi-Fi 802.11, latest Bluetooth version 5.0 and so on.
The Honor Play 9A will be available in three promo gradients- Jasper Green, Blue Water Emerald and Dark Night Black.
It is heard that there can be the appearance of two more phones in Honor Play 9 series. We hope that the offshoot of Huawei will uncover more dice.
