Huawei Nova 8 Series to Support 66W Charging

Huawei has so many phones incoming, but the next one in the line is Nova 8 series. Multiple rumors are getting around on the Nova 8 series.

We hope to see at least three Nova 8 series models, including Nova 8, Nova 8 SE, and Nova 8 Pro. Now, a new listing from China’s 3C site has been leaked, revealing the capabilities of charging.

The vanilla model, JSC-AN00, and Pro model, TN00, will arrive with 66W fast charging support. We have already seen the 66W fast charging in Mate 40 flagship series, so it might be sort of Huawei plans to continue with the 66W charger in their upcoming mid-range and flagship phones.

The vanilla model, Nova 8 is rumored to feature an OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and the Pro model to tag along with a 120Hz OLED display. Both of the devices will be shipped by Tianma or Visionox Microelectronics.

On the other hand, the Nova 8 SE will board a 6.53 inch OLED screen with a 48MP quad-camera setup. It will be running MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset.

Pricing is a bit average, starting from $485 for Nova 8 and $585 for Nova 8 Pro. We expect to learn more details on Nova 8 series.
