Apple has returned in 2020 with its traditional MagSafe charging system, and the brand featured it in the iPhone 12 series. All phones of the series are meant to support thoroughly.
Recently a report from Mac Rumors shows that Apple has changed its support list and updated it for the iPhone 12 series as well as MagSafe chargers.
Three models, including iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, will reach the top speed of MagSafe wireless charging, 15W. In comparison, the Mini version will be featuring a 12W peak charging speed.
The actual speed depends on a few factors: the present battery charge, system activity, and the temperature.
However, the support listing recommends a 20W USB-C charger to use with a charging speed of 9V @ 2.56A or 9V @ 2.22A or more for the top-tier iPhone 12 phones. In comparison, the iPhone 12 Mini supports at least 9V @ 2.03A to reach the charging speed.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 Mini are yet to go on sale. These phones are going on sale from this Friday, November 6.
