Only iPhone 12 Pro Series Will Feature 120Hz Refresh Rate Display

The iPhone 12 has been facing a lot of mumbling. Now, new CAD renders have been leaked, followed by YouTube channel EverythingApplePro allowing 3D renders of iPhone 12.

The channel showed that the new design of iOS flagships will be designed with a similar frame of iPad-Pro design, shaping square edges. And one more thing has been mentioned that a Smart connector is like the iPads own. iPhone users haven’t seen any earlier iPhones of 2019 or 2020. It looks like Apple is hoarding this feature for future generations of iPhone to have port-less designs.

Moreover, the modest version, iPhone 12, was expected to be 5.4 inch size, now it will be smaller and thinner one than expected. Maybe, it will be the similar size of iPhone SE, and maybe some old school frame with bezels.

However, the iPhone 12 Pro series will be occupying a new heroic color, Navy Blue color to be replaced with Midnight Green of iPhone 11 series. The glass on the rear panel will keep the matte finish to get rid of fingerprints.

Most important fact that catches the eye of the iPhone 12 series is the screen. All four devices will be revamped with OLED screens and narrower notches than iPhone 11 lineup. And the new fact to hear is Pro models will get 120Hz refresh rate, ProMotion.

Apart from the screens, the rear camera module will be specifying different camera sensors, varying from iPhone 12 Pro models and the modest models. The Pro models will be featuring the iconic LiDAR sensor, which can do things, such faster autofocus that is 2/3 times faster than now, in all camera modes, even videos also.

In the camera section, the Apple engineers did not come successful with the 64MP sensor, so the engineers will be using the same 12MP sensor.

Beside the primary sensor, according to a leakster, there will be a telephoto camera coming in the Pros. It can zoom to 3x more than the old generations, and feature a night mode also. A whisper knocked our ear that Apple is manufacturing periscope lenses, but it is not coming this year.

Jon Prosser has revealed a video of iPhone 12 details, starting with four models, which will be named iPhone 12- 5.4inch, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will have 6.1 inch display and the top variant, iPhone 12 Pro Max will bear 6.7 inch.

The regular models of iPhone 12 will feature BOE-designed displays, whereas the Pros will feature Samsung panels of 10-bit panels.

The pricing is surprising also, the vanilla models of iPhone 12 will be starting at $650 or a bit less. All of the devices will come with 5G integrated modem.

However, Prosser speaks of ProMotion displays that are not confirmed yet by Apple engineers, and they are trying to optimize the mode that can automatically switch off refresh rates, 60Hz to 120Hz. It will be saving battery when not needed 120Hz, and change to 60Hz.
