Vivo unveiled a flagship model a month ago, the iQOO 3 5G. The phone was a major hit among the mobile industries. It created too much hype as a premium budget gaming phone.
iQOO 3 5G was a phone with top notch specs with a bit of disappointments. Being a gaming phone, iQOO fans were disappointed with the 60Hz refresh rate. Well, Vivo is now teasing a new model for replacement- iQOO Neo 3, which will feature a higher refresh rate.
The phone will have a 120Hz maximum refresh rate alongside with an intermediary option of 90Hz. It will feature an Auto Mode option too. A few renders say that it will offer amazing balance between smooth animations and optimized battery life.
A screenshot shows that iQOO Neo 3 will be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Same configuration belonged to the iQOO 3 5G.
Unlike the earlier “iQOO Neo” models, the official teaser says it will feature the flagship chipset- Snapdragon 865. The snapdragon isn’t a surprise to notice. This is the same chipset as iQOO 3 had. But the CPU and GPU will reach above 60fps.
The iQOO Neo 3 will have a screen of 1080p resolution, just like other members of Neo. We assume that Neo 3 will have a new panel of 6.4 or 6.5inch AMOLED display with 180Hz touch sampling rate. It will likely have a punch-hole housing camera on the right of the screen.
Don’t take the information confirmed. We’ll have for more teasers to know specific information.
Alas! There’s no confirmation of an official launch date yet. Hope to figure it out soon. Till then stay tuned.
