Is it true or imagination that Nokia introduced a reincarnation of feature phones? Capitally, it is true. Nokia is confidently trying to stand against other mobile companies in all squares. Nokia is entering the latest feature phone as an entertainment device, especially for those who “love to feel their music on the go”. In sense, HMD Global made a peerless launch event with an unprecedented series.
HMD Global brought back the taste of Nokia Classic phones. The Nokia 5310 (2020) is inspired by its progenitor original Nokia 5310 Xpress Music and it was unleashed along with the company’s first 5G phone, Nokia 8.3 5G and two more phones. HMD Global successfully held the launch event through online media on the date of 19th March, 2020.
In terms of specifications, HMD Global emphasizes that the phone is specialized for the music lover, as like its predecessor. The feature phone comes with 2.4-inch QVGA display with dual front-facing speakers and an alphanumeric keypad with 27.5% screen to body ratio. The resolution is exactly the same as the old one.
Nokia 5310 is powered by Mediatek MT6260A SoC. The phone is based on Nokia Series 30+ software system. It has 8MB RAM and 16MB in built storage which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card.
The featured phone, Nokia 5310 has a VGA camera of 0.2MP with flash on the rear. A nice thing to say that its key selling points are the MP3 player and the front facing stereo speakers. Users also get a 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 3.0 so that users can hook up headphones of choice. An FM radio receiver is also hoarded.
In terms of battery, the feature phone is knitted of a 1200mAh removable battery. Through its modest internal system, it is said that it will last long while on a single charge. Moreover, it is officially quoted that promises to offer approximate 7.5h of talk time and standby 22 days for the dual-SIM unit and of 30 days for the single SIM unit. It is charged with microUSB 1.1.
The factor letting the phone down is that Nokia 5310 comes in a 2G dual band phone. So the phone won’t be working in countries where the 2G network has been abandoned and places relying on 850 and 1900 bands.
Nokia 5310 has the paint jobs of White/Red and Red/White combination.
