OnePlus 8 has upgraded much better than its predecessor, OnePlus 7. It has several worthy rivals, one of them is Xiaomi Mi 10. Xiaomi Mi 10 is another flagship phone from Xiaomi that launched back on February 13, 2020.

The OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Mi 10 feature glass in front and back with an aluminum frame. The OnePlus 8 is lighter than Xiaomi Mi 10, weighing at 180 grams whereas Mi 10 weighs at 208 grams.
The OnePlus 8 has received the IP68 dust & water-resistant whereas Xiaomi Mi 10 lacks this certification, though Xiamoi should have planted it as a flagship smartphone. But OnePlus supports this feature for only Verizon and T-Mobile regions.
OnePlus 8 sports a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, while Xiaomi Mi 10 features a larger 6.67inch Super AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. Both phones feature 90hHz refresh rate for a better and smooth touch experience.
For display protection, both phones are installed with Corning Gorilla Glass. Further, both phones have a similar pixel size of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The phones differ in the aspect ratio of the display. The OnePlus 8 features a slightly bigger aspect ratio of 20:9, while Xiaomi Mi 10 has 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Both phones house a punch-hole cutout in the front display for a selfie camera at the top left corner.
The OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Mi 10, both phones are powered by top Qualcomm chipset, Snapdragon 865 under the hood. The chipset features 25 percent improved performance than its predecessor and integrated with fifth-generation connectivity.
OnePlus 8 comes with Android 10, based on Oxygen OS 10.0, and this is what OnePlus is famous for, Oxygen OS. The phone forms Octa-core CPU and Adreno 650 GPU processors for high-quality performance alongside the top-rated chipset.
Xiaomi Mi 10 doesn’t differ much in that case. Just in the operating system, Xiaomi Mi 10 runs on MIUI 11 out of the box.

The OnePlus 8 seems to lack behind in camera hardware against Xiaomi Mi 10. OnePlus 8 features triple camera setup whereas Xiaomi Mi 10 hails a quad-camera setup on the rear.

OnePlus 8 provides only two storage models, 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
