The name GT seems familiar? Heard of GT racing? Well, we are not talking about any racing; instead, it is the upcoming Realme GT 5G. The device is coming with the latest chipset Snapdragon 888 on March 4. Under the hood, the device will be priced lower than CNY 2,999 ($465).
The Realme GT 5G will feature AMOLED Screen from Samsung with a 120Hz screen integrated with an under-display fingerprint biometric scanner.
This leaked news came from Realme VP Mr. Xu Qi Chase, who announced on the Realme’s official account on Weibo declaring that the Realme GT 5G will cost not more than CNY 2,999, though it was challenging.
Realme VP also confirmed that the device would equip the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage system, but nothing came up about numbers. Anyway, we know that the device will feature 12GB and 256Gb storage on the house, but there is a hunch for 12GB and 512GB storage to be a high-end variant of this model. Lastly, another vanilla model will be there as well under CNY2,999.
With this price tag, the upcoming Realme GT 5G will be the cheapest device powered by Snapdragon 888.
The spec sheet is about to release yet, though official posters are on their way. Keep your fingers crossed; we might see some new designs.
