Qualcomm recently launched its next-gen flagship chipset, Snapdragon 888, and smartphone companies are already in the field to bring their first flagship phones with Snapdragon 888. But Xiaomi is truly exceptional to announce that this chip will be first introduced in Xiaomi Mi 11 & Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro.
Meanwhile, around so much news, the director of Redmi, Lu Weibing, tweeted news the company’s next flagship will be one of the first phones among others with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, but no exact date has been leaked from the director.
Xiaomi’s Mi flagships have been one of the maiden devices to come with the latest Qualcomm chipset, but the race is not done here. As Samsung’s S21 lineup is on its way in January of 2021, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will have to come earlier than January, likely in this month.
However, recently, some alleged pictures of the upcoming Mi 11 showed up on Weibo. The image showed an unusual camera layout with a different kind of two sensor bump; it seems a bigger one and a small one, joined with an LED flash. Anyway, we couldn’t secure any lead news of Mi 11.
Luckily, we’ll get to hear more leaks and rumors in the upcoming days. As we get our hand on trusted news on the Mi 11 and 11 Pro as well as the rumored Redmi K40 series, we’ll reach out to you.
