Xiaomi earlier said to unveil the highly awaited flagship smartphone under the Redmi K30 Pro name tag at the end of March, currently the Chinese manufacturer has become more embodied via its social media platform, Weibo. The new Redmi series will come as an update of its lite version, Redmi K30 that flourished in 4G and 5G variants last December.
The budget flagship, Redmi K30 Pro is preset to hit China on 24th, March. It is even eagerly expected in other countries. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak in China, Xiaomi isn’t going to host an official launch event. The phone will be presented via live streaming online through the official Redmi account on Weibo. Considering the historical success of the company, it should become one of the most available high-end smartphones with Snapdragon 865. 5G is on board too.

It is believed that Redmi K30 Pro will be indeed the cheapest phone of aggressive price with Snapdragon 865 chipset. The chipset is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM support. Android 10 will be amplified within the MIUI 11 operating system in this device. The phone will pack itself with a 5000mAh battery alongside fast charging support. The phone will also include a 3.5mm headphone jack and an Infrared (IR) blaster. The teasers also mentioned Bluetooth V5.1, dual-mode 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE support.
A bezel less display is magnified in the leaks. A 6.67inches Super AMOLED display that will be manufactured by Samsung will feature in this handset. As it is rendered to be a Super AMOLED display of 20:9 body ratio, it will be the brightest display offering 800nits max and HDR 10+ support. Its mass production will be confronted with the protection of the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Rumor also says it will have a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and default 60Hz screen refresh rate.
Coming to cameras, General Manager Lu Weibing also benevolently posted an facial render figure which shows the back of the k30 Pro. Consequently, the camera setup is also clearly noticeable. It sports a circular model of four cameras. Sonny’s IMX686 is said to be the primary sensor, 64MP. A recent teaser claims that The K30 Pro will have a dual OIS system for the tow of its cameras. The main 64-megapixel camera will be assisted by OIS and so will the telephoto camera, 64MP that is confirmed to come with 3X optical zoom. The rest of the two cameras are 8MP ultrawide and 2Mp depth sensor. The Redmi K30 Pro will come with a pop up selfie camera module as the k20 series. The motorized pop up fits a 20MP snapper in it. On March 24th it will be eventually submitted to the public.
The hyped phone, Redmi K30 Pro will be revealed in three variants 128GB and 6GB RAM, 128GB and 8GB RAM, 256GB and 12GB RAM. The RAM system supports the latest LPDDR5. The storage works on UFS 3.1.
The director Wang Teng Thomas displayed an AnTuTu comparison on Weibo as usual. He compares the Redmi K30 Pro with an Honor V30 Pro having Kirin 990 soC. While the Honor receives 489,605 points, the K30 Pro on the other hand reaches 610,296 points.
Lastly, Redmi K30 Pro will conquer the customers in multiple colors – Silver, Blue, White, Purple.
